Vision

To be a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence in maritime education and training for producing highly competent, ethical, innovative, and environmentally responsible Deck and Navigation Officers who contribute to safe shipping, sustainable maritime development, and the global blue economy.

Mission

The Nautical Department is committed to providing internationally recognized maritime education and professional training that meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the STCW Convention, Bangladesh Maritime University (BMU), and the Department of Shipping, Bangladesh. The Department prepares competent Deck and Navigation Officers through academic excellence, practical seamanship, simulator-based learning, leadership development, and onboard sea training while promoting maritime safety, marine environmental protection, sustainable ocean governance, and lifelong professional learning.
